EFU User Guide (Part 1) - Yijia/A-Plus

Thank you very much for choosing the Yegao RadiFan air filter unit. To ensure your proper use and to fully utilize the performance of the RadiFan air filter unit, please read this manual carefully before use.
When the crew needs to perform maintenance or encounter a malfunction requiring replacement of parts, please provide the following information.
Model and manufacturing code of the unit;
Details of the fault (including the operation status of the machine before and after the fault occurred).

I. Important Safety Matters
Improper use of the RadiFan air filter unit will result in the machine not performing at its best. When using it, please strictly follow the following instructions:
1.1. Operating Environment:
a) The installation of the fan filter unit should be away from heating furnaces, steam, etc. as heat sources;
b) The installation site for the fan filter unit should not have flammable, explosive, etc. items to avoid fires;
c) Do not use volatile chemical substances near the machine. If these chemical substances are sucked into the machine, it may cause fires or explosions and other accidents;
d) Do not use sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, bleach and other corrosive chemical substances near the machine. If these chemicals are used, it may cause corrosion and damage to the machine.

1.2 Transportation and Installation:
a) Please handle the fan filter unit in its packaged state. During handling, ensure it remains level. If using a handcart or other tools for transportation, ensure the box can be fully placed in the cart to avoid falling or edge collisions, which may cause the box to deform. When temporarily placing the box and filter on the floor, ensure it is stable and there is no collapse risk to avoid damage to the box and filter (for details, please refer to the installation precautions of EFU provided by the manufacturer);
b) After the box is installed, there should be at least 50 centimeters of space above the static pressure box to facilitate future machine maintenance and smooth air circulation. If insufficient space is reserved for maintenance, the machine will not be able to be repaired or components replaced;
c) Do not touch the filter with sharp objects to avoid causing the filter to break and leak, which will not ensure the cleanliness of the cleanroom;
d) After removing the packaging of the box and filter, please keep the packaging plastic bag. When temporarily placing the box and filter on the floor, ensure the floor is flat and a clean protective board should be laid first before placing the box and filter on the board to prevent the box and filter from being contaminated.

1.3 Usage Notes
When installing the fan filter unit on the machinery equipment, please strictly follow the following instructions:

1.3.1 When entering the clean room
a) Please wear a dust-free suit to prevent dust from entering the clean room;
b) Please clean tools with alcohol to avoid dust from entering the clean room;
c) When checking, please use dust-free paper and ballpoint pens for recording to avoid generating dust.

1.3.2 During construction
a) Do not jump down from a ladder to avoid causing injuries to personnel;
b) Do not damage the wiring pipes, pipes, machine parts, etc. inside the equipment;
c) Please wear a dust-free safety helmet to avoid head injury due to too low static pressure chamber and fasten the safety belt, be careful not to drop tools;
d) Do not directly press the air guide cover on the box to avoid damaging the fan;
e) Do not operate the machine with wet hands to avoid electric shock hazards;
f) Do not place large items downstream of the outlet to avoid obstructing the smooth flow of air and causing the air cleanliness inside the machine to fail to meet the requirements;
g) Do not block the inlet and outlet of the machine or the inlet and outlet of the EFU. If the inlet and outlet of the EFU are blocked, it will cause the fan performance to fail to operate normally, resulting in abnormal fan operation or damage to electrical components;
h) Each or each group of EFU must install an appropriate capacity leakage current short-circuit breaker on the power supply side of the EFU to avoid electric shock or fire;
i) Grounding works need to be implemented to avoid the danger of electric shock.
